Am Still Waiting For This Lady-Part Two

Add to Google Reader or Homepage
Come to me in my dreams, and then
By day I shall be well again!
For so the night will more than pay
The hopeless longing of the day

After the bus left I have realized that there is no point in cursing my poor friend..
But at the same time several questions crowded my mind..
Who is she..what is she studying..????
Which college..did she come there only on that day..????????
Or is she going to come there regularly..??????
If she is a regular, how is that I have not seen her before..will she come again the next day…????????
Damned-who will answer these questions..???
“God..pleaseee..please appear before me for some time and answer these easy questions..I very badly need your help..O My dear nice God,please understand..”
I was so desperate not because that I have not seen more gorgeous girls before that, but for sure no one shook me so r..o..m..a..n..t..i..c..a..l..l..y..
What to do..????
May be that was love at first sight..
(At a matured age,am laughing at this silly statement now..but was I not right for that tender age friends..???)
After that I was in no mood to go to the college..
In an utter frustration,I first checked my friend’s pocket ..Found thirty rupees..
Checked mine. Found twenty..
Not baaaadddd..We can still manage a movie..
We went to a popular Hindi film titled "Khel Khel Mein.."
That was the millionth time we were watching that film and that was the billionth time the film was being shown in Hyderabad since its first release God knows when....????
While watching the movie I found that many of those who have come to the theater have actually come there to do everything except watching the movie and the remaining all except me(you must trust me) have literally come there to visually measure those exceptionally outrageous physical properties of Neetu Singh..
And out of those few I bet I was the only stupid cum idiot in the whole of the theater watching only her face(Heyy..what's that look,am normal oh kay)
Finally,I looked around and found that even my great friend was no exception..
And..As a matter of fact I have to very honestly confess that even today my friend is a great fan of not only beautiful ladies but also of every female irrespective of her country, caste, color, creed, size, height, religion, her statistics, her radius n circumference and all her other vital dimensions and measurements etc.....
While watching the movie my frustration was growing in full throttle watching Rishi Kapoor romancing vivacious mini blue frock wearing Neetu Singh in the song...
"Ek main Aur Ek Tuuu.."..
Please stop here for a moment friends..
Many say that there is a great chemistry between Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, but I wonder why is that they don't call it Zoology when what was happening between them was actually a part of the biological process and not a chemical process..????
This doubt like my many other doubts still remains uncleared!!!
Hick..Hick..Hick..
After that, with one foot up and one foot down that day too passed with a great difficulty and the next day arrived..
Dinggg..
Both of us friends filled with great eagerness, curiosity and anxiety ended up in the bus stop at 8.55 AM sharp..
The count down began..
Our waiting began..
And it continued for a difficult fifteen minutes..
Will she..or..will she not..will she or will she not..???
And to my great relief..
At 9.10 am…
I found her slowly, casually, carefully and almost counting every step.. c..o..m..i..n..g towards the bus stop..
I bet even top models around the world today do not display similar grace when they crazily walk on ramps of the fashion world....
As I was eagerly observing..
She slowly reached the bus stop and settled down on her throne..
With one deep look at her I found that she is that rare cocktail of those all time great beauties like Moonmoon Sen(portrait),Marilyn Monroe(grace)Moushmi Chaterjee(Smile)Meena Kumari(sweetness)..hmmmm...what else..Oh yeah..Neetu Singh the vivacious(??)and of course my pop diva Samantha Fox(????)…
Unmindful of my observation and my wild imagination she was sitting quietly in the bus stop looking into the direction of the bus....
That was really hurting my ego as she was not paying any attention to me...
Forget attention, she was not even noticing my presence....
Ohhh..Come on yaar..its too much..I can’t take it....
I felt that it was causing a serious dent to the handsome boy image I was enjoying in the college and in the friends’ circle at that time..
So on so forth was my thought process....
And..Then..
At that time..And
Exactly at that moment…It happened..
She casually..very very casually..
l..o..o..k…e..d at meeeeeee..
That was hardly for a second and even for that one second she looked straight into my eyes...
Goshh..
Her looks have send nuclear waves all through my body..
Imppppossssibbble…
I cannot forget the priceless look of that gorgeous lady that will be haunting me for many more lives to come..
As the serious dent caused to my handsome boy image was slowly vanishing,I broke into great raptures internally and looked at heavens as Sachin Tendulkar looks at them after scoring a century..
And that ecstatic state involuntarily reminded me a wonderful quote by Cervantes-
"The eyes those silent tongues of love.."
Me,My Friend and Ms.Gorgeous..
Only three of us were there in the bus stop at that time..
For a moment I had this ugly thought of killing my friend whom I suddenly felt was a big invader on our privacy..
After some breathless moments and senseless thoughts..
Her bus came..
Come what may we,the shameless, boarded the same bus along with her and got down at the same place she got down..
We followed her very carefully and finally found that she walked into the Kothi women’s college, another famous college in Hyderabad, unfortunately only for women..
And there is no way that I can enter inside..I told myself..
So what to do..
Still Ohhhhhhhhhkkkkkkkk..We could find her college at least..
So far so good..
Then I finally looked around with pride and heaved a great sigh of relief..huh..
Tenzing Norgay may not have carried that pride in his eyes when he looked at the world after scaling the Himalayas and reaching the summit of Mt.Everest..
What a relief..and what a joy..!!!!
This joy of mine made my friend poorer by a few bucks as he had to pay for ten plates of pani puri that we have consumed near the Sultan Bazaar bus stop..
Now..Task one accomplished..
Another big relief for me was that she is going to come to the ladies hostel bus stop every day and also at the same time..
9.10 AM..
Ok..Fine...But it also means that I have to be in the bus stop everyday at only 9 AM,and not before that..
But My first period is at 9 AM..
So what yaar…????I shouted at myself..
Not a difficult choice..
And after that day I have never attended my first period in the whole of that year..
Later it has become a daily routine for three of us to gather in the bus stop almost at the same time..
And the biggest celebration for me used to be on the day when my friend could not accompany me to the bus stop..
On those days only me and Ms.Gorgeous used to be there in the bus stop obviously waiting for the bus..
And during that trying and testing period I did everything to capture her attention..
Just to say a simple "Hi.." to her I used to do a lot of practice and rehearsal at home- before the mirror, during the bath etc....
But all my efforts used to fail miserably the moment I used t see her entering the bus stop..
My body used to shiver with body quake and I used to have palpitation with severe sweat in my palms..
I had enough opportunities on many occasions and on many occasions only two of us used to be there in the bus stop but still I used to shiver like a tree struck in whirlwinds and never had the guts at least to smile at her..
Almost a month passed like that with many futile attempts and my friend whom I thought was more valiant than me used to push me a lot by pumping in a lot of courage while going to the bus stop but used to hold my shoulder tightly the moment she used to walk into the bus stop..
What is more pathetic is that even our singing went for a toss as just the three of us used to sit silently in the bus stop as if posing for a still  photograph..
Come what may,
I was keen on knowing her name at least, but failed on that front too..Even my friend,a self styled Sherlock Holmes too failed miserably..
So howwwww….????Howww..???Howwwwwwwwwwww...??????????
Who will tell thattttttttt…????
I asked God...
And the reply came from a devil..

Am Still Waiting For This Lady

Add to Google Reader or Homepage

Dear Friends,Whether or not you all believe-- this is the true story of a very graceful lady, her life, her passion and her feelings.Though I have a very vital role to play in this story,  it only has a lesser significance.I very strongly feel that people around the world should know about this great lady of exemplary character whom I shall keep adoring until God himself decides to fall in love with me.....
Am Still Waiting For This Lady
Yes..Yes..Yes…
Still after twenty five years..
Still with my eyes wide open and..
Still with a bouquet in My hands and..
Still with the same smile and...
Still with my heart almost going breathless with every passing day...
AM STILL WAITING FOR THIS LADY..
Waiting to convey that..
That..
That..
That..
*******************************************************
Osmania University in Hyderbad,India is a picturesque location spread over 1600 acres(6kms) of green lands.
With beautifully laid out black top roads having green black berry trees on both their sides,Osmania University is one of the oldest modern universities in India and is a must watch for every student and for that matter every human being.
Even today, except an occasional city bus and a few bikes, one will not find much of a traffic moving on these roads.
If this is the scenario now..
One can then imagine how this university was twenty five years ago...
It was just spectacular..
Just the more serene and just the more peaceful than what it is today.
And in that spectacular university there is a beautiful bus stop under a huge Black berry tree. This is called the ladies hostel bus stop as it is just opposite the OU ladies hostel.
No one knows when this bus stop was erected but it is there even today, though in a slightly dilapidated condition...
And twenty five years ago..
On a quite day..
In that bus stop..
I have seen the most beautiful, gorgeous, pretty and above all the most graceful lady of my life.
This whole story is about that lady and that lady alone…
With a mind conquering grace and a more captivating enigmatic smile, this lady is still there vivid and active in my memory today and shall remain to be there for a life beyond life.
That is the aura and that was the magic she has cast over me.
I,as a student of graduation used to board my bus in this bus stop to my college,The Nizam college, one  of the oldest, popular and the most celebrated colleges of not only Hyderabad but also of India...
It was this college that produced some rare gems like Sarojini Nayudu,M L Jaisimha,Shyam Benegal,Asif Iqbal,Rakesh Sarma,Mohd.Azharuddin, our Andhra Pradesh CM Kiran Kumar Reddy etc...
For me,life in those days was naughty as it ought to be and I was always on a song with so much to do in so little a time..
During one such days..
It was a lazy morning in the month of August..
It was around 9AM and I as usual was late to the college..
Normally at that time of the day only me and my friend used to be there in the bus stop with literally no one else around..
Sitting in the bus stop and waiting for the bus, both of us used to sing old Hindi songs loudly..
Really loudly....
And on that day too...
Both of us were waiting for our bus in the bus stop..
In a chorus and like a national anthem we were singing “mere sapnoki rani kab aayegi tu..”very loudly..
While singing I turned my head and started looking into the direction of the bus..
My singing stopped as I didn’t find the bus coming but found a young lady coming slowly towards the bus stop..
She was wearing a Red color salwar kameez and even from a distance gave me the impression that she is an extremely gorgeous lady..
As I was curiously watching her,she slowly walked towards the bus stop and sat comfortably in the vacant cement sofa in the bus stop..
At that time I was casually sitting on the iron bar in the front side and my friend was standing in front of me..
I was stunned by her beauty to say the least and was left dumb for almost some time..
After a few minutes my bus came..
I looked at my friend..he understood..
And we let the bus go..
Another came..same result..
I wanted to know which bus she will be catching and which college will she be going to..
I tried to look at her but she was busy waiting for the bus..
Me,my friend and Ms. Gorgeous..
Only three of us were there in the bus stop..
And in an absolute silence..
She was waiting..
I was waiting..
We were all waiting…
And finally her bus came and as everyone in the bus were watching with curiosity, she quietly boarded the bus..
I tried to move and was almost moving..
And before me and my friend could realize what was happening the lucky bus carrying the beautiful lady left us and left the bus stop..
Ohhhhhhhhhhh..Damned..
A big FFFFFFFFFFFFF..
I was shocked and mouth fully cursed my friend for not advising me to catch that bus..

Dear Friends,

With that said,I should also thankfully confess that there are a few precious followers who have been following my blog and my writings very closely and more importantly some of them are notable personalities from the field of literature and entertainment..
Secondly,My story on the school boy is still pending and am going to complete it in a short time..
There are a few friends who often question me about it..but i honestly say am not going to disappoint them..
Above all these things there is a very very important story am currently writing and I am dead eager to share it with you all..The only reason being that it is so close to my heart and my entire life is associated with that..

***************
Recently I met a man after twenty five years.(I must have told a zillion times to myself that"God,why did I meet this man and why did you author this meeting..")
The conversation that took place between the two of us has frozen me to say the least and forced me to write this story even if it costs me my time,my profession,my career or my everything..
I have decided that I should write this story..
And am already writing...And will post it very shortly..
Please wait for this very important true story with the title,"AM STILL WAITING FOR THIS LADY" that will narrate some thing that happened in the Osmania University campus twenty five years ago...
And..
My dear friends,
My whole life is very deeply associated with that happening..
So please wait..
And..
Till that time..
Very honestly yours

The Untold Misery Of A School Boy-Part Seven

No soul can be forever banned,
Eternally bereft,
Whatever falls from God’s right hand
Is caught into his left.

                          ………………………………
Rahul’s mother taught him the practice of offering prayers to God..
And in his prayers Rahul used to ask for some unusual grants from God..
“God, please make me a bigger cricketer than Sachin Tendukar,
God, please make me stronger than Arnold Schwarzenegger..
God please make me a better dancer than Michael Jackson..
God, please make me richer than Bill Gates so that I can build a huge castle in Beverly Hills for my Mom and Dad..”
“God this..God that..”
So on and so forth were his prayers that used to baffle God..
Sadly, all that is history as  little Rahul’s only prayer to God now is to grant him freedom from that hell…
Liberation from that misery and offer him a normal life to live..
That is all..
But little does Rahul know that the fate of humanity cannot be amended even by its CREATOR and that it is kept sealed and locked in an unopenable locker by Nature..
And also…..
Little does Rahul know that his final journey to that country has already begun from whose Bourne no traveler has ever returned..
Weeping loudly and almost going insane into a fit of rage as his whole frame was shuddering like a rural motor pump, Rahul went on screaming with pain for his mother from the deepest of the deepest wells of his voice..
“Mooooooooommmmmm..
Moooooooooooooooommmm..
Mooooooooooommmmmmmmmm….”
His pain filled voice echoed, re echoed and circulated in that class room first…
In the dark corridors next…
And in the whole of the school last..
Listening to Rahul’s voice in absolute silence, the whole of the school building at that time was standing like a ghost in the darkness..
Suddenly all the nightly creatures and insects hovering around the class room stopped their movements and noises for a second and paid their attention to the unusual voice that disturbed the rhythm of their privacy..
They may not understand what that voice was…
But they were all able to measure the pain in that voice..
In a rage Rahul just went on weeping and screaming loudly for a few moments and stopped as his tired vocal chords refused to cooperate any further..
Tears were flowing down Rahul’s milky cheeks as his eyes were just looking around into darkness with fear and with the hope of finding some help in some form..
He was desperately searching for his mother through that darkness..
But the saddest part of the story is that Rahul is too young to realize that he will forever be confined to that solitary confinement..
And
That..
That..
He will never hear or see his beloved mother in his life time again even if he calls her a million times..
With so much of heaviness and discomfort in his head and with his vocal chords temporarily going numb..
Rahul just could not stay quite at one place..
He wept and wept and wept…
Not only due to his loneliness and darkness..
But also due to the unbearable trauma caused by the gripping diabolic fear that took hold of his whole mind and its complete network..
He wanted to come out of its grip but was unable to do so..
He went on weeping for a long time..
He is hungry, he is thirsty, he is angry and he is helpless..
Not able to cope up with that internal torture and trauma he started banging his head to the writing table..
He just went on banging and banging..
And banging..
And stopped..
As the whole of the nervous system in his brain got jammed and stopped functioning..
As a result, there is a terrible unmentionable pain in and around his head as there was a severe swelling on his forehead with mild bleeding..
During Rahul’s banging of his head all the tables in and around his writing table moved haphazardly making a loud noise in the whole of the class room..
The whole of the class room was aghast witnessing such a pathetic scene..
Irritated by so much of unusual movement around its territory
And irritated by the invasion of its privacy by some unforeseen force…
A thick skinned dark black Lizard, almost the size of the palm of Hercules moved in discomfort behind the small door of the window which was hardly two feet away from Rahul…
It could not identify the source so it lazily closed its eyes and went back to sleep..…
For a moment there was a terrible silence in that room as little Rahul, with his head resting on the table closed his eyes and remained so in a semi conscious state..
He was moaning pathetically in all sorts of physical and mental pain..
A few minutes passed in that fashion..
It was still raining very heavily out side..
The whole city of Hyderabad was still under a grip of darkness and rain as power supply to the city was interrupted due to that un seasonal rain..
The entire school was still filled with darkness and still filled with silent rain..
The dark cat was still unmoved and still observing Rahul and his plight..
With one foot up and one foot down, the time was still marching normally..
And exactly at that time..
When the two needles of the clock stood together in a deep embrace on one number in that dark night..
It happened...
And it all happened so suddenly..
And..
A major twist in Nature took place..
The dark Cat that was observing Rahul for quite some time from a distance shivered as it received the shock of its life after clearly witnessing that twist in nature..
And with that shock..
It suddenly jumped off the place and started running through the dark corridors of the school meowing and yowling loudly, painfully and pathetically..
And rushing so through the dark corridors the shocked Cat ran away and vanished into deeper darkness..
But what shocked the black Cat was not Rahul’s screaming or weeping.
Not Rahul’s fate or destiny..
But the Cat was shocked to see “something” that it should not have seen..
Shocked by seeing “something” that was beyond human comprehension..
Shocked because by seeing that “something” it lost its vision..
Shocked because with that loss of vision it became blind forever and ever....
And with that forever blindness the fear filled Cat ran away..
And ran away frightened by what it has seen..
But what was that SOMETHING that the Cat has seen..
That “something”..
That is beyond human comprehension and human nature…
And..
What was …..
T…….H……….A………TTTTTTTTT………
